All events have an informative, inspiring guest speaker to add value to your business.
This months guest speaker is going to give us an insight into Imposter Syndrome. You may suffer and not realise it, or you may know someone who shows the signs, but your not sure how to help.
Do you find yourself feeling like a fraud at work?
Do you sometimes worry that you don’t deserve the success you’ve enjoyed?
Or do you think that others are far more qualified or better at what they do than you are?
If you answered yes to any of the above then you may be suffering from Imposter Syndrome.
Imposter Syndrome (IS) is the belief that you’re inadequate and a failure, despite overwhelming evidence to the contrary. IS sufferers feel like frauds – that their success is more down to luck rather than judgement. As a result they often feel like they’ll get ”found out” and carry the burden of this “secret” causing undue stress and anxiety.
Does any of this sound familiar? If it does, don’t worry! Up to 70% of successful people have experienced IS, including Maya Angelou, Albert Einstein & Meryl Streep.
Aurora Wellness will be talking about Imposter Syndrome at our forthcoming ParentPreneur event on Wednesday 13th June.
Come along to meet like minded people, learn more about Imposter Syndrome and identify practical ways to deal with it in a fun and relaxed setting.
