ParentPreneur is the most friendly and supportive networking and connecting event in your local community. Welcoming all parents with their own business or parents that are thinking of starting their own business. We come together to inspire and motivate each other. Sharing stories and swapping ideas to grow your business and find that work life balance. There is an opportunity for you to introduce your business to the group in a very informal show and tell way. All events have an informative, inspiring guest speaker to add value to you and your business.

In April we are lucky to have Michelle Burrows join us and share her business. Michelle is a UK Hypopressives trainer and the founder of Get Inspired Coaching. As a success coach and personal trainer, Michelle is passionate about optimising mind and body and offers one-to-one sessions in addition to small group and workshops on request.  Having her own pelvic floor complications after childbirth, Michelle was inspired to become a Hypopressives trainer and spread the message that there is an alternative to surgery and TENA Lady or indeed TENA Men!

Hypopressives is a unique approach to training that re-programmes your core muscles to work as they were designed to. Most traditional exercise techniques are HyPERpressive, which means that they increase internal pressure whereas Hypopressive exercises decrease or reduce internal pressure, to the thoracic, abdominal, and pelvic areas of the body thereby relieving pressure on weakened muscles. It retrains the core, including the pelvic floor, to start working correctly again – without you having to think about it.

Everybody can benefit from Hypopressives. If you’ve lived life to the full, worked hard and raised a family, your body may be suffering from back pain, a weak pelvic floor, poor posture, prostrate issues or even pelvic organ prolapse following childbirth. These issues can stop you from exercising, having fun with your friends & family or even simple doing everyday tasks.
